We host classes in several Toronto neighbourhoods: High Park, Roncesvalles, Swansea, Hillcrest, Danforth, Trinity Bellwoods and Deer Park. We have four program levels.
- Level 1 – 1 to 3 years old: Atmosphere + Songs
We create an atmosphere of trust where the little ones will feel comfortable and start familiarizing themselves with the rhythm and cadence of the new language. The students will be exposed to a variety of exciting activities. For this level, songs are our main tool to teach the language. The children will learn to correctly identify and pronounce basic words in the new language, as well as construct simple sentences with basic essential vocabulary.
- Level 2 – 3 to 6 years old: Games + Arts & Crafts
The students will be exposed to a variety of stimulating activities specially designed to learn and practice the new language. Through games, children will be able to communicate. Through songs they will learn the vocabulary and correct pronunciation. Through original, creative arts & crafts they will use the new language without even realizing. They will learn the order of words and grammar through amazing stories to maximize their acquisition of the new language.
- Level 3 – 6 to 9 years old: Arts & Crafts + Culture + Theatre
Students will have fun learning the new language, absorbing the artistic, charming and lively culture that comes with it. Our themes come to life through theatre, art, games, crafts and songs. Through these activities, our teachers communicate with the students in the new language in an engaging way so they are capable of understanding and repeating new vocabulary. Our activities are designed so that students feel the need to communicate and interact with the teacher and their peers in their new language.
The program includes art workshops where students will explore their unique creativity through drawing, painting, and making crafts in a new language environtment. They will learn about the most famous and recognizable works of art and important Spanish, French and Chinese artists. Through theatre performances, students will create their own stories and perform as their favourite characters.
